Check Point VPN-1 Net
Security
An Internet-based VPN must never
compromise the integrity of the organization's security
policy. To ensure a secure VPN, VPN-1 Net includes Check
Point's patented Stateful Inspection technology for
integrated access control. Administrators may select one
of four predefined security policies and deploy it
network-wide to all VPN-1 Net gateways.

Encryption
Beyond ensuring that network access
is secure, a VPN solution must protect the privacy of
the data being transmitted. By adhering to the IPSec
standard, VPN-1 Net automatically negotiates the
strongest possible encryption and data authentication
algorithms available between communicating parties.
These algorithms include Advanced Encryption Standard (AES)
and Triple DES.
One-Click
Certificates
With the use of One-Click
Certificates and Check Point's Internal Certificate
Authority, X.509 digital certificates can be issued to
VPN-1 gateways. X.509 certificates ensure secure
communications by providing the strongest available
authentication between VPN-1 gateways.
