One-Click Technology

Check Point's One-Click technologies make it simple to deploy and manage VPNs. Multi-step VPN set-up and management processes are condensed into a single step, making it quick and easy to deploy remote access, intranet and extranet VPNs.

VPN-1 Pro solutions employ the following One-Click Technologies:

• One-Click VPNs

• One-Click Certificates

One-Click VPNs

"One-Click VPNs" are a new model for creating and scaling VPNs. Remote access and site-to-site VPNs can be created with a single operation by simply placing all participating VPN-1 Pros into a "VPN Community." As new members are added to the Community, they automatically inherit the appropriate properties and can immediately establish secure IPSec/IKE sessions with the rest of the VPN Community.

One-Click VPNs support the following VPN types:

• Meshed - every site can automatically establish secure communications with every other site
  
  
   

• Star - branch sites can establish secure communications with the central site
  
  
   

• Hub and Spoke - branch sites can communicate with each other through a central hub site
  
  
   

• Remote Access - users and groups of users can establish secure communications with one or more sites
  

Hybrids of the above topologies are also supported, such as a "Star with Meshed Center", in which branch sites can communicate with all members of a central meshed VPN.

One-Click Certificates

One-Click Certificates enable the deployment of strong user authentication "out of the box". With the Internal Certificate Authority included with VPN-1, digital certificates can be issued to both VPN-1 SecureClient users, VPN-1/FireWall-1 administrators and even users connecting from SSL-enabled Web browsers. One-Click Certificates provide industry-standard two-factor authentication for users without requiring the rollout of complex and expensive PKI systems.
 

With VPN-1, both issuing and revoking

digital certificates are One-Click operations.
